If you are looking for a camper trailer on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, seeing the trailer in person can answer questions that specifications alone cannot. Cabin height, bed size, storage access, kitchen layout, door clearance and the general feeling of the space are much easier to understand once you can step inside.

IWANA is based in Cromer, NSW, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Private viewings can be arranged so you can compare the current range — Landscape, Outback 2.0 and Drift — and talk through towing, bed size, options and the way you actually plan to travel.

Camper trailers in Cromer on Sydney’s Northern Beaches

Our Cromer location gives Northern Beaches buyers a practical place to inspect a compact camper without travelling interstate or relying only on photos. It is particularly convenient for people around Dee Why, Brookvale, Narrabeen, Collaroy, Manly, Mona Vale and the wider Northern Beaches who want to understand whether a lightweight camper suits their tow vehicle, storage space and travel style.

The IWANA studio is at 2/11 Boola Place, Cromer NSW 2099. Viewings are arranged so there is time to walk through the trailers, open storage, look at the kitchen and discuss the details that matter to you.

Why seeing a small camper in person matters

Compact campers are highly dependent on layout. Two trailers can have similar external dimensions but feel completely different once you sit or lie down inside them.

During a viewing, useful things to check include:

• how easily both people can enter and exit the cabin
• the actual sleeping dimensions
• headroom and seated comfort
• window placement and cross-ventilation
• how quickly the outdoor kitchen can be used
• where clothing, bedding and everyday gear will live
• how the trailer dimensions fit your driveway, garage or storage space
• whether your current tow vehicle is an appropriate match

Compare three IWANA models in one visit

IWANA offers three compact touring formats rather than trying to make one trailer suit everyone.

Landscape — lightweight teardrop trailer

The Landscape is a design-led teardrop focused on light touring, couples and a bright, comfortable cabin. Its published base tare is 650kg, ATM is 1,000kg and overall height is 1.97m.

Outback 2.0 — lightweight squaredrop camper

The Outback 2.0 uses a more upright squaredrop layout with higher ground clearance and a more utility-focused touring setup. Its published tare is 850kg, ATM is 1,300kg and overall height is 2.10m.

Drift — roomier compact camper

The Drift adds a wider 1.47 × 2.00m mattress, rear galley and family-friendly layout. Its current pre-production reference figures are 700kg dry weight and 1,500kg ATM, with on-road touring standard and optional off-road upgrades.

Options and individual builds affect final weight and specification, so always use the compliance plate and final written specification for the trailer you purchase.

Bring your tow-vehicle details

If towing is one of your main questions, bring the exact make, model, year and variant of your vehicle. The useful numbers include braked towing capacity, maximum tow-ball load, payload, GVM and GCM where applicable.

You can also start with the IWANA Vehicle & Towing Compatibility Check before your visit.

Buying a camper trailer in Sydney without buying a huge caravan

For many Northern Beaches couples, the attraction of a compact camper is that it fits more naturally into everyday life. A smaller trailer can be easier to store, quicker to prepare for a weekend and less intimidating to tow than a full-size caravan, while still providing a permanent sleeping cabin and organised kitchen.

Our guides on small camper trailers, 2 person camper trailers and easy-to-store campers explain those trade-offs in more detail.

Can IWANA deliver outside Sydney?

Yes. The Cromer location is where buyers can view the trailers in person, while IWANA offers Australia-wide delivery. If you are outside Sydney, we can still discuss your intended use, tow vehicle and configuration remotely.
